Keypad 0 plays 3 seconds - Can you change this?

If you hit 0 on the keypad Vegas plays 3 seconds on the timeline which is a nice feature. Is there a way to make it play longer than 3 by default?

Not sure about the Keypad but in options preferences you can change it so the spacebar acts as play pause which is extremely useful.

It's default is play/stop.

Go to Options|Preferences Editing Tab and the setting is there as cursor preview. See pic below.
