Keys I and O does not work properly in trimmer window

Trimmer window - bug is when I hit "I" key and then "O" key after some time, the
selection is not made. The selection is stuck with both IN and OUT
points on a same point instead. Only after you hit SPACE again, then
it starts working.

I have recorded a video for you showing what is wrong:

Contacted support, no help. They wanted me to reinstall from scratch. And they are telling me they cannot reproduce this.

My hardware: Ryzen 1700, 32 GB RAM, SSD + HDD, RX5600XT.

I see it happens if the video or audio track is selected in the trimmer window. So one way to overcome is to once stop the playback, then the selection disappears, then I and O should work as expected.

I do reproduce this scenario. I will discuss this behavior with the team.

Thanks, my case was closed for inactivity. Truth is, I had to spend over a month to finish my projects before full reinstall. I could not afford something to break. Did complete registry cleanup, same thing. Yesterday, I was not able to find how to create a new case. It's usual practice to hide the form as much as possible to prevent users from creating small cases (I guess). I simply could not find it and I was landing here all the time :-)

I love the trimmer and I use it a lot in my workflow using keyboard: I, O and then A adding it super quickly. I own Premiere, Pinnacle but Vegas has always been my favorite tool. I have to say this bug is there from the day one of the trimmer window.

The expected way would be both keys I and O to work setting in and out points even when hit multiple times. I do this a lot - I often keep hitting O keys even two dozens of times "marking" spots which are good for cut.
