Debbie, how brave and clever you are. To take on such a big project in a field where you had so little experience; to struggle through it, and to bring about such a splendid result. It's not only the execution - which hardly look like beginner's work - but the ideas, the concept. I'm amazed, and I'm going to show it to the teachers at my daughter's school. Thank you very much.

Thanks for all of the compliments! I'm going to let the kids read them on Monday!!! I keep telling them that real people have jobs making films using the same software, but I'm not sure they believe me! I appreciate all of your kind words about the film. It's the most fun I've had in awhile and the kids are very proud of themselves. The ideas for the scenes and the humor are all theirs. Also the narration. I just kept asking, "What do you want to film?" and "What do you want to say?" They are a very creative bunch and utterly fearless when it comes to technology.

This is truly amazing. You need to submit this to your local PBS station. I don't even want to know how many hours were spent on the stop motion stuff....and the subtle vocal sound effects are as good as any of Terry Gilliam's Monty Python cartoons. I was in tears at the Canadian "Oh no!". The readings remind me of the Peanuts cartoons.

Overall, awesome. I wish I was in your class at that age. Kudos all around.

I liked your approach to the organisation of the artwork . The layout of the piece and the use of complimentary colours for the backgrounds. I've used a fine piece of software for getting ideas into some format - Inspirations Plus - great s/w learning and educational tool.

So you guys! You gotta an International audience too!

Absolutely superb. I just quadrupled my knowledge of Louisiana thanks to the kids and this film.

If you have any spare time (does a teacher have spare time?) you might want to see if you could encode at a lower bit-rate than 3,145kbps. This would speed up the download process considerably and might not sacrifice picture quality on this type of material.

But that's a minor 'techy' quibble (since I'm on broadband). The program itself is great. You should all be very proud of your accomplishment here.
