Laptop for SVMS 10 & importance of graphics card

Hi, I need a new laptop for my work and would like to use it for SVMS 10 too. I guess the CPU and RAM and the disc are the most important, right?

I am thinking about this business laptop from Toshiba: http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/tecra-m11-laptops/
(because it has a fast disc and a non-refelctive display).

The graphics card is rather basis - how important is the graphics card for SVMS?

A CUDA enabled graphics card somewhat speeds up rendering of a few formats, most notably AVCHD. Other than that, there's really no benefit at all.

Yes. Go into the large retailers and compare the screens side by side. You're going to be spending a lot of time staring at it.

Get the most powerful CPU you can.
Get the largest onboard hard drive you can.

You'll be glad you did.

Thanks thats good comments!

I´ll like the mentioned computer because of its non-reflective screen - something I like.

About hard drive I can add my Lacie extern disc with e-sata. It should be just as fast as the intern disc.
