Hi, I've got a new iPhone which records 4K videos and I want to be able to edit the footage in Vegas. I first got a message telling me I had to install the right codec (through quicktime) which I did - then after a restart I would still get an error saying I cant load the file but no why.
I then tried a smaller file of about 300mb - which loaded just fine (from the same phone, also in 4K).
I assume this then has to do with size limitation of some sort, The files I try to load is about 10-12 GB each.
However - I have 100+ GB free disk space, and also lots of free ram from my total of 32 - so I don't see why it should not load.
I've tried to find a post about this on the forum but wasn't able to find one (only about large files out - not in). Is there a way to adjust settings or something to allow for the loading of these files? Or do I have to use an additional program to split up my video before loading them into Vegas then re-unite them?
Thanks in advance - I really like using Vegas for my editing needs - and with 4K coming up - large video-files will be a must to be able to work on :)
