Before your evil posting here :), I had made it through only purchasing a bunch of new Cinescore themes... when you rudely reminded me that the sale was winding down, I panicked and just HAD to buy Acid Pro for $135!!

Yeah, I bought twice what I had intended, but exactly what I wanted. Ha!

What do you bet that Vegas 9 comes out on the 21st, the day after the sale ends?

CCLUB, how did you get Acid Pro for $135.
It works out to $194.97 when I try to buy it (download version)

I too took advantage of the sale prices, I was tempted to Acid Studio, but I really don't have much time to create all my own movie music from scratch.

At the beginning of the sale I bought Cinescore; I then got Vegas Pro 8, and today I bought a new Cenescore pack.

If Vegas Pro 9 comes out in the near future at least I will be better positioned to get a great upgrade price.

Last day. Just bought Vegas Pro 8 (boxed). Hopefully not paying twice in a two month period. We'll see.

I upgraded my copy of Acid Pro 4 to version 7(b) for $87. I think this is the best deal Sony has offered, especially given the other products that are bundled:

iZotope Acid Pro Effects Rack
Garritan Aria (what is this?)
Native Instruments Guitar Combos bundle
Submersible Music Kitcore Drums

Maybe I'll use Acid a little more often now ...

Garritan Aria (player) is a VST Sample player plug-in or standalone produced by Gary Garritan and Company.

I went ahead and picked up Cinescore and a couple of theme packs. Too good a deal to not do it.

I'd say this is the SECOND best deal sony does. When new versions come out you can upgrade yours for 1/2 the upgrade price. This is the next best thing. :D

I've been paying for Vegas upgrades since 2002, numerous times (and getting DVD Architect along the way of course). I have only paid for Acid one other time. And the version 7 bundle may be worth the price of the upgrade.

Now if I get that Radiance software for a $99 Vegas 9 upgrade price, that would be Awesome. And I might change my opinion of the best deal ever. Oh yeah, and throw in Colorista that directly supports Vegas, since we're makin wishes.
