Latency / delay with plugins

Pro 9 in Wind XP 32 bit:

1. I insert the color corrector in project in Pro 9
2. I move the saturation slider
3. There is an annoying delay between my slider moevment and what I se on the preview screen

I see similar delays with many other plug ins. Text for instance.

I don't have this problem in Pro 8

Anyone?

Using 32 bit pixel format?
If so, I can confirm.
Otherwise (in 8bit projects), it's normal here.
