Actually the beta is listed as 6.11 and the most current driver for the Echo 24's is 6.08 (which I've been using for a long time). I haven't tried the beta driver but some of the new features and fixes look interesting. However, my system is working great using the PureWave drivers and I'm pretty resistant to trying a new driver "just out of curiousity." I personally will wait awhile (perhaps do some research like you did here) and maybe try to talk to someone at Echo. A few years back, Echo had a driver in beta for years and everyone was using it – stable and no problems at all, so this 6.11 may be fine.
