I've had several shoots over the last few years where stage type LED's were used at a venue, both produced a notable flicker that there just is no compensating for in post. I could see it in the monitor of my camera and nothing I tried (like changing shutter speed) could nullify it on location, basically just had to go with it. One of the shoots was just a couple weeks ago at a new location with newer LED stage lights. On the other hand I also have a couple nice 12x6 lights that are made for video and I frikkin love em to death, great tools.

If you have any sway or the means I would defiantly want to test the lights if video is at all important to them. Maybe order one just to try on a subject in dark room. All LED's are not created equal and it seems most of the stage type ones I've encountered, though they may light the band nicely to the naked eye, do not consider video issues in their making. Not that they should, but it would be nice.
