PLace cursor on far RIght Hand edge of clip - yes? You should see a tiny box with an Arrow coming out of it - yes? Hold down the Ctrl key, keep the Left mouse button depressed and streeeetttch that frame - yes? I do this to extend "Text" and "Screen Shots" over a long period. - Neat eh? To compress the clip "squash it" by moving towards centre of clip!

thanks, that worked a little bit but it only stretched the frame to 1/30 of a second, I want it to be stretched to around 10 seconds, is there any other way to do that???

I'm assuming your single frame is now on the timeline as a separate clip? If not it needs to be. You can either zoom right in on the timeline and split it or save the frame as a still and then bring it back in (much easier). Either way, follow Grazie's instructions, but DON'T hold down the <ctrl> key. You can now stretch it as much as you want. If you hold down <ctrl> you make the clip run in slow motion. There's not a lot of call for that with stills!

Grazie - what have we told you about too much caffeine :-)

Yup - that's the one! I'm heavy with "Cold" at the moment - must have had brain fade! Or the Lemsip . . .
