This video is on the cheinworks vid share and I looked at the light streaks and they seemed to not go so far to the right and left, but still up and down, and didn't seem to be very opaqe, but still streaked pretty far. I've tried to duplicate this but can't seem to. Anyone out there know how to get this kind of look.

Dave

(BTW, I hope you were able to understand this)

The easiest way to get this look (and beyond) is to use Trapcode Shine.

You have seen the output from this program on just about every TV channel over the last few years. Not bad for $99!

Is this for adobe aftereffects?

Looks to me like it's not able to be used with Vegas, it doesn't say that it's supported, is it a plugin only? Or will I have to pull a macie, and open it in another program to add an affect?

Looks cool! It' definitly looks like it's worth $99.00 but i don't want to spend another grand to open it up.

Fair enough!

It also works well in Combustion 3, you can get that for a few hundred bucks on eBay from good sellers.

Combustion is very handy to have for a lot of other things too...

I hear that it's tough to get a grip on. (bit of a tough learning curve) Is this so?

I've seen the workflow of Combustion. It's something that would take ME a long while to get my head around. I much prefer Boris, AE and all the rest. But I hear Combustion is a great prog for those who know it.

Combustion is far easier to learn than AE, and it seems easier to me than Boris. It also includes Particle Illusions, an Oscar-winning color corrector from their $100 products and a lot more.

The best way to learn Combustion is with Ken LaRue's DVDs from The Street Productions.
