I've found several references on the Internet to "letterbox expand mode", which is apparently a flag encoded on a DVD which lets the DVD player know to expand the lettrboxed video to fill the screen on a widescreen TV.

Is this something that works on most DVD players, and if it does, is it something you can set with DVDA 3?
