Liking Vegas 15 Now

I realize when Vegas 15 came out it had some issues, and in many ways, it felt like a beta release. However, with the most recent version, I am really starting to like it now and have given up on editing in 14 now. For the longest time, I was still editing in 14 even though I had 15.

I am a huge supporter of Vegas and love it more than any other editor I have tried. And I was really happy to see Magix pick it up and bring it up to speed. I know there are still some issues, but I am really liking 15 now and hope Magix continues to improve on the program.

I stumbled on this clip and it just reminded me that every new version of a NLE has its difficulties, especially when big changes or improvements are being made. And this applies to other major NLEs besides Vegas.

I'm enjoying it now for the most part as well, it's finally stable enough for me to get a good bit of work done without having to worry about crashes. I have had a few hangs when trying to render, but so far none when trying to edit, and that's when I end up losing the most progress and getting the most frustrated by the crash.

I haven't had crashes too, everything seem to be smooth.

I'm still getting those annoying hangs when I click "Render as", but other than that it is rock solid.
