A bit off topic, but related to video capture.

A friend of mine wanted to know if it is possible to capture analog video on a Linux OS system. He has an NVidia FX5600 VIVO card and has gotten all other features to work except he is at a dead end when it comes to the analog capture feature on the card.

Does anyone know if this is possible or even know of a Linux video editing utility? NVidia, flat out, says they do not support this feature under Linux.
