Just saw this in the latest edition of Videography Magazine...Thought I would pass it along. I thought most of it has been seen already though.

That is fine, but how much is just as important as what in this case.

I'm not too concerned about the price...as long as it's under $1000 for the upgrade I'll be happy. I highly doubt they would screw their loyal customers.

Under a grand for the upgrade? that seems much for an upgrade. :)

Well, it's a great program and I wouldn't want to use anything else. Plus in my opinion the upgrades have been extremely cheap for the past few upgrades. If they want to give cheap upgrades again that would be fine, but if they need to raise the price I would be fine with that. Vegas is a great tool and I have ho problem paying for something that useful that can make me $1000 in a couple days. It will pay for itself in no time.

It would be awesome if it would include a way to capture 1:1 same as the MOJO. It's hell on ya to try to edit in VEGAS beside someone that's editing in AVID because when you put the pieces together you can clearly tell that VEGAS compressed its video. It's not as ...'something' as the AVID piece that was never compressed. Until VEGAS can offer this they will never be considered 'Top of The Line'. Maybe 'Top of The Line' in the DV world but not as an all around NLE. Any thoughts?

END ACTIONS in DVDA 2 would be also nice.

I would be almost certain that they would include that, without it the program would be just as useless as it is now.

How about selectable sound tracks? AC-5.1 or PCM? for DVD-A
