I created 2 video clips with Movie Studio Platinum 12. Each video consisted of photos and video clips from assorted cameras, some transitions, some music. Each clip rendered fine, and plays just fine.
My problem comes when I try to use a new project to combine the two clips. It gets about 30 percent done and just hangs. I tried re-rendering the two clips and combining those new renders and I get the same problem.
So I tried to do a simple "combine video" using Media Go, which made about the same progress, and then gave me an error message "a bad video frame was encountered."
Roxio couldn't combine them either - with no error information, just an app hang.
I suspect one of those old video clips from some long-disabled camera has a problem. I want to know if there's an easy way to find the problem content and edit it out. As mentioned, the two individual clips seem fine as stand alone videos. The problem is only when I try to combine them.
Thanks!
