Locking track markers to audio CD events???

When making an audio CD, is it possible to lock the track markers to a particular event so that they move when the event is moved. Here is what I'm trying to do. I'm making a series of discs that each need to have a greeting (Track 1), an individual message (Track 2), and a main body (One 36 minute piece of audio that is continuous, but divided into separate tracks for easier navigation). The Individual message tracks are all of different lengths, so when I interchange them to write each disc, it throws off all of the markers on the main body, which are needed in specific places (ends of songs, etc.). Please let me know if I can lock these down to the main body, other wise I'm going to have to set up 10 audio markers for each CD.....Thanks.

It's not possible to lock the track ID's to the events. Here is a good way that you can accomplish what you're trying to achieve.

1- Create a Vegas project that has your "message track" followed by your "main body" track with the individual tracks within it. Save that project.
2- Import your "individual message" (Track 2) to the "media pool"
3- Locate the cursor at the end of the "message track" (Track 1).
4- Goto the media pool, right click on your greeting track and select "Add as CD track".
5- Save as a new project
6- Re-open the original saved project goto step #2...rinse, wash, repeat.

This works like a ripple function for CD tracks, and that's what you're looking to accomplish. You might be able to accomplish this same type of thing using the "auto ripple" feature and selecting the "ALL TRACKS,MARKERS,REGIONS".
