long loads and rebuilding my peak files with "acidized wavs"

So I'll mixdown some .wav's from fruity loops...for import into vegas. If I DON'T have "save acidized" checked, all goes well.

However, If it IS checked, they vegas project takes forever..and I mean forever (at least comparing to what's normal) to load. First, it just thinks for an extra minute at least at the command to open the file. Normally these projects load in a few seconds. But what adds even more time, is that it rebuilds the peak files EVERYTIME for the 4-8 acidzed files that I export out of FL. And, it takes a much longer time to rebuild those than it would a normal file.

I'm wondering if this is a bug, or if I should just stop saving acidized unless I am using it in acid...ha!
