Looking for some help

I'm a missionary working in Bolivia. I run a radio station
(Radio Mosoj Chaski) for the Quechuas of Bolivia. It is a
SW station with almost all new equipment. We've been on the
air for about 10 months.

In addition to the radio end of things - we also run a music
recording studio - to produce Quechua music. We were
advised to purchase Vegas Pro. We have VERY limited
experience in this - although we are up and recording.

I'm looking for someone who also uses Vegas Pro - to whom I
could turn with questions. I'm sure our questions are of
the most basic nature - I'm just not finding the kind of
help we need. Again, we are hardly literate in this field.
If there is an individual who speaks Spanish - that would be
GREAT. Anyone speaking Quechua would be WONDERFUL!! My
desire would be to work with just one person so they could
get to know us and advise us over time.

Thanks

Hi Porter,

By posting your questions here there are a number of benefits. First
and foremost is that most of the technical questions are answered by
Sonic Foundry personnel who really know their stuff. Secondly, if you
seek help here, there are others who may benefit from the answers to
the questions that you ask. And lastly, there appears to be a nice
mix of hobbyist and folks who use the program professionally ...
which is bound to give you some different solutions that one, or the
other, might not have thought about.

I just wish that SF would go the newsgroup route instead of a
relatively clumsy, BBS style message board.

Good luck ... sounds like what you are doing is pioneering fun. :)

I agree with KAC here ... especially since you cannot logout of the
Forums!!! This gets to be a pain when (like me) you sometimes use
multiple computers to access the board (in multiple places, sometimes
public labs).

I'd love to have an NNTP board (maybe mirrored on the forums?).
