Looking for some opinions on Vegas upgrade path

I know there are probably as many possible options/answers/opinions here as there are cuts in the average edit but here goes anyway:

I have been happily editing for some time now using 9.0c. I did purchase both the 10 and 11 upgrades but somehow never got around to installing 10 (always had a project on the go), and have been nervously reading of poster's experiences with 11.

Most of my work (mainly weddings) is done with 2 cameras, and I know that using two different cameras is not ideal, but that's what I have got.

I recently discovered the FBmn White-balance plug and thought 'Bewdy, this should help cut the amount of time I usually spend wrestling with getting my finished product to look good' and so I gleefully plonked my money down.

Of course I soon discovered that I need to be running v10 to use this.

So to my dilema...

Do I update my v9 to v10 and wait for v11 to get sorted or do I go straight to v11?

I know I will probably have to increase my RAM anyway, currently 3GB as per my system info :o)

Any opinions/advice/experiences gladly accepted.

Cheers
~Wayne

"I soon discovered that I need to be running v10 to use this"

You can use the free (donateware) program AAV Colorlab to do something similar.

http://aav6cc.blogspot.com/

to use the eyedropper correction:

untick 6-vector
tick Adjust
click on Adjust
select eyedropper
click on something that should be grey (i.e "white" but not saturated)

You can reset any adjusted colour by clicking on the white background in the plugin window.
