hi everyone,

i'm trying to decide between the canon gl-1 and the sony trv900. i like the progressive scan mode of the gl-1, but other than that and better performance in low light, it doesn't seem to have much over the trv900, which has better resolution, and is more portable and discrete.

so i'm wondering if there are any issues people have run into while editing that will help me decide. for example i guess there is a black border on the left and right sides of captured video from the GL-1. is there a similar phenomenon in the trv900?
