Looping audio without a gap

nothing wrote on 6/23/2022, 9:16 AM

I created a 3 minute long song and am gonna make 3 hours video with it. I added the track in Vegas and stretched it out.

The problem is that there is a gap when the audio is looped. I can hear the noise between the loop when it plays. It was ok when I play it as loop in my DAW.

Of course, it can be solved if I use overlap function, but it's 3 hours long, and I'm planning to make it every day from now. Thus, I'm looking to a better and simple way.

Any ideas?

Give a fade-in/fade-out or cut that gap away, in Soundforge Pro.

Well, that's what I did in Studio One. Thx anyway.

Try disabling 'Snapping' in VP.

Otherwise, try using Sound Forge.. if you use the "Event" mode you can precisely adjust the x-fades. Disable snapping if there are glitches or only snap-to 'Zero Crossings'.

Hi, rraud. What can I do with Sound Forge? Is it something special for audio editing? Otherwise, I already tried it with my DAW which is also one of the audio editor. These are what I tried:

1) Changed the high pitch melody part of the beginning and the ending part.
2) Added fade-in and out at the beginning and the ending part.
3) Changed the order of each bar.
4) and etc

Soundforge Pro is a "surgical knife blade", can treat the audio file deep into its sample knobs that no one DAW or audio Editor can do.

Just one example: Rotate!

Hmm...interesting. I'll try it out. Thank you! 😀
