looping dvd question

i am trying to loop my dvd in architect 2 but it keeps looping to the menu page and what I'd like is to get the actual clip to keep playing...any help would be greatly appreciated...this is a trailer for my feature which was shot for only $5,000 and edited entirely on Vegas and I'd like to have it playing at the festival we've been selected for. Two major noms...best actress and best screenplay...we're very excited and want to use the trailer to promote...thanks to the forums that helped me through the editing process...never edited before this project...true testiment to the quality and support of the Sony staff, product and all you forum guys...

Navigate into the movie in DVDA, on the properties section, set the end action of the movie to link to the movie rather than return to most recent menu.

Lazy method. Just use the menu and loop it. In other words, make the menu your entire trailer and let it loop. Delete unwanted lettering and it will play video and audio just fine. You may want to use the .avi and a separate .ac3 for this as DVD-A will want to render the video to mpeg2.

Thanks Steve and Scott...I'm still having trouble...when I select the trailer and look at the properties I click loop but it loops back to the menu page...there is no other option that I can see that will allow me to link the l;oop to the movie. When I hit the end action the only options on "Command" are loop hold and activate button...I'm still a newbie so please go easy on me...

Just be aware that the menu method for looping your material only works if the audio and video used in the menu is <1GB

Thanks. I didn't know that. I've only used it for music videos of one or two songs and it seemed to work fine. Never tried to see how much I could loop, but I never thought about a limit, besides about 4.3 GB.
I figured if it was a movie trailer, how long could that be? 5 to 10 minutes? That should be easy. You don't even have to press "Play". It just plays

I have use Scott's method on two clients DVD's who didn't want any menu. Just pop it in the player and it keeps playing. This is for trade show demos.

I was putting together a Tai Chi DVD and had 90 odd menus each looping till DVDA told me I had exceeded the 1 Gb limit - and of course the solution was using End actions.
