I have a Conon MV-1 and while it has been hacked with a widget, (to get DV-In, it's a European model - PAL) I don't think that is the issue, I have successfully used it for a few years with my DVRaptor, (which is still installed along with my 1394 card)
I am finding that for some unkown reason my DV out disapears, but the camera is still detected as normal etc, it can be played and manipulated through VideoCapture, and timecode etc comes in, but there is no image out, no switching over to it etc when I enter Vegas for external preview and no way to preview on tape etc..
I have tried the DV update, SP4 re-application, uninstall and reinstall of Vegas, but nothing is giving me any clear idea of what is doing this, I am really losing my patience, and after some of these fices it may come back, at other times not.
I have seen no cause for this to happen, no crash, no change in the software, nothing, it just seems to be wierd, Premiere is now suffering the same issue, so it must be system.
Help appreciated
