Losr Project after "saving with media"?

No big deal as the project is finished and rendered.

I save the final project using "Save As" and included the trimed media. Feeling secure I deleted the media pool to free up space. Later I went to open the project and I find only about a third of the used clips were saved with it and none of the audio events! What's going on here?

Cheers,

Are you trying to open the new .veg file that the Save As process created or are you trying to open the original .veg file? The new file will point to all the new trimmed media that was created by Save As with media. The original .veg file still points to all the old files that you've now deleted.

Not this neither out of space. Note3 that "some" of the trimmed media was saved with the project, but not all.

It will save all the trimmed media. Did you possibly save it in the same folder as the origional product? If you did that then you've probley deleted the media in the trimmed one too. :(

No, the trimmed media that I DO have is in the same folder as the project - just not all of it and none of thevoice-over audio. I'll save another project and experiment before I delete raw media.

Next time make sure you save into a new folder. It will be a lot less confusing and a lot less prone to errors.
