loss of quality from render?

If i were to render a movie a few times at "best" would there be any loss of final quality? How about at "good"? I was just wondering for convenience, 1 track is much easier than 10.

As long as you do it as a uncompressed AVI file there shouldn't be any real noticable quality loss, but it will eat up TONS of hard drive space.

Depending on LOTS of things ... NTSC full frame 24 bit 29.97 uncompressed .AVI will run about 1.74GB/minute, so 15 minutes will be about 26GB.

Good vs. Best makes no difference in file size, just picture quality. I think you're thinking about uncompressed video, which does take up more space.
