Do you know the names of any of the files? If so use Start > Search > Files or Folders.

If you don't know the names use a wild-card in the search Field like *.avi, this will show all files with the avi extension (substitute the actual extension). You can also use the advanced feature and set a size threshold, say over 50 MB, again substitute for your situation.

Yes I know all the names this is the weirdest thing. I will NEVER NEVER restore a numerous amount of highlighted files again. I will do one at a time.
Now I think I have to go through 3 60 minute dv tapes again.

I had a similar episode. Did a Goggle search for "recover deleted computer files." Picked up a little utility for $12 or so that will show you what still resides on the drive and let you get it back. Can't remember the name, it's on my other "work" computer. Filerecover or something like that. Darryl
