It seems that presets have been handled differently in version 7 or 8, resulting in strange, long filename folders containing an sfg or other file specifying certain customized presets or chains.

I had no recent backup of my presets or chains and had to reinstall Windows. Upon reinstalling Vegas after reinstalling Windows, all my presets and chains are gone, even though there are a bunch of these long filename folders under C:\Program Files\Sony.

Any clue how to instruct Vegas to use these existing files?
