at least there's no phone crud to go through here though i doubt i'll get any further.

today, my studio computer with cd arc 5.0 crapped out and i cannot find the disk (going back to 4.0) nor the 5.0 version. i wouldn't be surprised if someone permanently borrowed it. what i need is for someone at sony or whoever is in charge of matters such as these to look up my account and email theme info i need to rectify this situation.

i take full responsibility for the loss of the afore mentioned materials but need an avenue other than the ones provided on the sony web site. the rediculous phone system that gives out the number you just called to call for assistance is not only mind numbing in it's stupidity but just plain insulting to any living being. so please if this forum has a company rep as a moderator and can give me some assistance in this dilema i would greatly appreciate it. i can be contacted at parnell68@hotmail.com or by phone 1-517-655-4230 or 1-517-655-1640.

You're not likely to get the response you want by posting to the forum. But it should be easy to resolve your problem without resorting to voice mail hell.

Download and install the latest version of CDA from the Updates page (these are all the full versions, and don't require a previous installation). Then, if you don't have your serial number either, use the customer service website (www.custcenter.com) to provide them with your order details (email address, mail address, order number if available) and they will probably respond with your serial number very quickly (I've had similar issues straightened out within 30 minutes.) Assuming you registered with contact information, that is. The service staff is great, in my experience.

Good luck.
