I'm posting in the hopes of solving someone else's issue...I haven't seen this posted in the VMS forum for awhile.
I'm in the middle of a long project, I lost my Video FX Window. It was missing. I would click on the Video FX icon in the timeline (or add an FX by dragging to the timeline). I would see some icons appear to be selected, but no window would appear that would allow me to edit the actual video effect. There are no ALT-number keys or an item in the view menu to help. I tried looking for docked windows to no avail.
Solution: The Video FX is actually underneath the Windows Taskbar near the bottom of the screen. You can either set the Taskbar to autohide or "uncheck "lock taskbar and then move it.
