Low light shoot

What's the best treatment for improving video that was shot under unavoidable low light conditions, using Vegas 5.0? Thanks.

What specifically is wrong with it?
Is it too dark or does it have a lot of noise?
If the latter then Mike Cash's noise filter is pretty good and/or a little bit of Black Restore to push the noise into the blacks may also help.

Thanks for reply Bob, but although there is no noise, it would be more watchable if it were a few shades lighter.

Try adjusting Gain and Gamma with the Color Corrector.
