low memory message

i am running sony vegas 16 on window 10

every time i try to save or open up saved file i get low on memory message.. i know im not but keep getting this issue and also freezing a lot mid way throu editing. ive done all tyhe changes that many recomend on youtube to do but still does it. sometimes 2 minutes into and edit or 1hr into its very random.

also when saving a project i get message saying: an error occured while saving this project file veg could not be created and could not be saved

A specific project, or any project?

If a specific project, you might try moving the veg so that you have to re-specify where to find the media. Do so one at a time until VP fails and then see what's special about that one element.

Do you have both CPU graphics and GPU card graphics enabled? The reason I ask as many issues arise of low memory, black frames where both are enabled.

Sony Vegas 16 does not exist,Sony Vegas 13 was the latest.
