Luma Key

After watching the new "Cutting Class" from Digital Juice, I went to try the "Luma Key" trick he mentioned.
I can't seem to find that in Vegas. Is there a Luma Key there that I'm clearly missing?

Try the "Mask Generator" with the TYPE set to Luminance
