I'm PC based, Windows XP, looking for an upgrade to on-board 6.1 audio chip supplemented by a Edirol UA-20 for recording.

I use Vegas both for Surround Mixing on Movie Projects and recording/mixing music from two keyboards and electric guitar. I have a Nady Mixer for the instruments with 1"4 inch balanced outputs.

My amp in a Panasonic Home AV amp with 5.1 analog RCA inputs, COAX and TOSLINK inputs.

Want to be able to playback surround whiles recording and monitoring music. Which card would work better? Or other cards to consider?
