m2v will not open in VV or DVDA

A client gave me a .m2v file that he rendered out of FCP. I brought it over to PC and it opened fine in DVDA. I hit "prepare disc" to make sure DVDA wasn't planning to re-render the file and it wasn't (I was pretty happy about that).

24 hours later, it will not open in DVDA or VV.

I re-copied the file back over from the mac (with a different name) and no luck.

Anyone ever seen this or know a workaround?

hummm .. on the PC try changing the .m2v extension to either .dv or .mpg

I recently received a couple of these, and I had to right-click it in the Vegas explorer and click the "Prepare for Open" (or similar) command. After that it worked perfectly.
