Mac Pro + MBOX + XP + Vegas 7

We are having issue with audio playback in both Pro tool LE 7.4cs3 and Vegas7.0e running XP via bootcamp on a MacPro,

Tried the famed "hotfix" and it did nothing.

any tips?

additionally, if we have to we'll get another brand of DAW box....what works!!!?
