Mackie Control Master Fader

i just connect my Mackie control (i bought it second hand - maybe a logic control) and when the master control will also appear in the left side's channels. For example, If i have channel on, channel two will be on as master fader as well, when i move the master fader, both will have action.

Does anyone seen this before?

Yeah. When you have less than 8 channels of audio, the last fader on the Mackie will act as a master as well as the Master Fader. This 'extra' can also act as a bus control, aux, etc, depending on how you set the system up.
Remember, you've got a 'hidden' master bus. Press B in Vegas to see it.
Wish I had a Logic...I like the silver color.

if i add a bus, that channel will be the first bus?
is there any way to disable this, coz it looks strange to have two master fader moving

or does it mean if i can a new bus, that fader will become the bus control and i will not see the two fader moving together...?

If you add a bus, that fader becomes the bus.

hey spot... i've tried adding a new bus, it is still the same
any idea? should i update the firmware?
Above the blue display, it shows Emagic Logic control, should i get the 1.2 update and will it fix this issue?
