HA!!! This guy is so outta touch with reality. He makes so much contradictions to himself, alls I can do is laugh.

"Sony's a good company ain't it..? their website's a miasma; they make good prods...I ain't gonna up and get a Honda or fuckin Toyota tho, now THAT'S unamerican AND ambiguous"
Actually, that statement really makes me laugh. I currently work for JBL, which is an American company. We supply premium audio systems to Toyota. Previously I worked for a Japanese company....guess who we supplied audio systems too? Ford and GM...You might as well stamp made in Japan and Mexico on those vehicles. There's more american parts that go in a Toyota than a Ford now days.
"I hope updates, finally, start happenin again, because yo! they haven't for quite awhile...not talkin about upgrades people, updates"
"Wait a minute, when I was still solely dealing with Cakewalk, weren't they still having updates to Pro Audio 9 while I jumped to Sonar 1..? they could walk and chew gum at the same time...! "
Suggestion to software developers... Placebo updates
So that means we should be looking for Vegas 4.0s, which coincidentally has exactly the same features and download file size as 4.0b? I can't wait!! I need my fix!!!!
I think I might have figured this one out, and it's a scary one:
People like stusy are the result of Micrsoftism: You've forgotten (or you weren't around during) the times where you bought a software and it WORKED. Nowadays, we half expect our apps to crash, hang, twist and mess around with our data. We also expect a patch next month that'll fix bug A and B but introduce bug C which you in turn will have to wait another month for, etc. This is how nearly every application works nowadays - hell, our OPERATING SYSTEM works that way. How many times per month does Windows Update notify you of "installing the latest fixes"?
Now, this is not really in itself a bad thing. It's nice to know that companies are struggling to get their applications working, but seriously... How many of your regularly-used apps work perfectly? I can't mention a single one, except maybe Wordpad or Winamp.
Given that this has been the situation for about 5 or so years, it's quite understandable that the PC world would eventually produce people like stusy. People who believe that regular updates are something you have a constitutional right to expect. The fact that he's mixing american foreign politics mix Sonic Foundry's updating policies is just a humorous twist, and about the only reason I haven't hit the good-old "ignore" link.
