Magic Bullet Keyframing

I am attempting to use keyframes with Magic Bullet Looks plug-in. I seem to remember a discusson about this some time ago, but a search through the forum messages did not turn anything up.

Question: Is the Magic Bullet Looks keyframeable - (clip or track)? I can't seem to get it to work, but that could be operator error.

Not at the moment psg.
That's one of the drawbacks it suffers.

You keyframe it like any other plug-in. What's different is that the keyframes all act like HOLD keyframes even if they are not. So it will rapidly switch between one look and the next and not be gradual. That's the only limitation that I can see.

a limited work around is to simply copy the clip to a top track and apply the effect to and use a composite envelope on the top track to fade in the effect or coloring.

Simple and effective. Remember you can also adjust the type of fade in even on a composite envelope.

Thanks for the clarification and the suggested work arounds. I'm going to try the composite envelope and fade (thanks Zelkien69)
