Magic Buttons

Does anybody know how to do that thing where you make your buttons appear on your menu only after a set period of time has elapsed, is this possible with DVDA? I have created a nice video menu and it would make more sense on screen if buttons only became visible after about 10 seconds. Ive tried cutting my stream and including the first 10 seconds as the discs introductory media but there is a significant gap in playback and also the user does not see the first part of the stream when returning to the menu from another part of the disk. Any ideas?

How about creating a 10 second menu which then links (end action) to a second menu (obviously with same bacround) with the buttons?

It is not possible to make buttons appear after a set period of time in DVDA2. Your approach to create intro media which links to the menu is the best approach. Although, as you noted, there is a gap so, you'll need to consider that in your design. You may not be able to do exactly what you had originally intended.

FYI, you can set it up (via end actions and remote menu button actions) so that it will play the intro when returning to the menu from another part of the disk.

OK, thanks for the suggestions. Am still working with DVDA1 at the moment so I guess I'll have to use Encore if I want to use the End Action approach. Thanks anyway guys...
