Magix Vegas 18 Performance is terrible when I drag the audio. Why?

I have bought a really powerful laptop (4800h + 2060GTX) for my video editing. The performance of the laptop is great BUT when I UNGROUP (pressing U) a video from the audio and I try to drag the audio in different position it is lagging SO MUCH. Moving the video around the timeline there is no problem. Is it because of the shitty audio chipset the laptop has?
Also pressing UNDO... omg this action is so SLOW!!!

The initial release of Vegas Pro 18 had horrible lagging in moving both audio and video events (grouped or ungrouped) for me. The latest build - 434 - thankfully doesn't have that problem. Do you have b434 installed?

Yes its the latest 434 version. This does not happen to my desktop where I have a similar 3700x CPU, RX590 and an creative omni sound blaster audio card.

Long shot, I bought a HP laptop 4800H 1660ti 3 months ago. For the last month Win updates keep killing my laptop speaker and headphone audio, and I have to keep rolling back. HP and Microsoft support haven't figured it out, suggested a clean win reinstall which I'll probably do eventually. My laptop has an App called HP Audio Switch which I think may be culprit, could your laptop have some non standard audio software specific to the manufacturer that is at fault?

This is typical from tech support, suggesting clean installations. Well the installation is clean because the Lenovo Legion 5 I have, never had OS and I clean installed everything without having the bloatware a laptop usually has. I am using stripped version of Windows 10 Pro called LTSC, which perform much better than the 20H2 version that are filled with useless stuff like Cortana, XBox bar, store and all that extra bloatware that Microsoft has inside. I think it has to do something with Vegas optimization, because as I said this happens only with dragging the AUDIO not the Video. Which is weird as it has less recourses.
