They are just adjusting luminance using curves and then adding saturation globally. You can do much more than this in the color grading panel!

But why make a video about color grading and only show a short cut? I know Gamers who use Vegas Pro all they want is colors that pop. .
Well, increasing contrast and saturation would do that so I guess a video like this would attract such gamers. It's just a promotion video not a tutorial.
