Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the Main Concept MPEG encoder with the encoder used by Sonic's MyDVD? The DVD writer I just bought came with Sonic's MyDVD. I notice some blocking around high contrast and/or fast motion areas. I don't know what bitrate was used by the encoder because this is entirely hidden from the user. If the Main Concept encoder is better maybe I'll spend the $29.95 so I can encode files directly from Video Factory.
