Are there others having trouble rendering in MPEG-2 and not being able to view it on a DVD player?

My DVD player doesn't recognize the disk and there aren't any options when you get the $29 version so I can't configure the rendering.

I have a JVC 60 that will read svcd.

What are the fixed parameters?

Are you selecting "Write your movie to Video CD or CD-ROM/Create a Video CD"? Although I have had some luck with this, so far I've had much better luck burning the SVCD using Nero instead of VF. If you get rid of the Wizard in Nero, then select New/SVCD, you can drag whatever video file you want to use over to the CD and burn it. You may need the new MPEG2/SVCD plugin, however.

I render a file to the harddrive then I burn that file to CD using VF. I have EZCDCreator 5 but it doesn't do mpeg-2.
