MAJOR PROBLEM/POSSIBLE BUG

So, I have a project on a firewire drive that I've been workin on at work. I took it home to render it, and one whole clip in the timeline is missing. It doesn't show it offline, it shows it completely blank. I cannot re-associate it with a clip in the media bin.
I come to work today, hoping that when i open the project, it will be normal. Nope. In fact, two more whole sections are missing, similar to the problem before. Completely missing.

That is a link to a screencapture, so you can see what it looks like.

The error message when I open up the project is:
"This project file is missing one or more mediapool elements."

Nothing is missing, all the files are there.

HELP!!! Thanks!

Your link is broken so I can't "see" it. So I'll guess. Somewhere at home or work you moved the location of one or more files or renamed them. Now Vegas is simply looking for them. Don't panic. Locate them under their new name or location.

I run into this all the time because I like to do the editing on one PC and render on another and like you transport the drive back and forth. Human nature being what it is I sometimes forget that the source location of one or more files is not on the drive I use fro transport. This isn't obvious unless and until you move the drive and try to start the project in the second PC, then you get the error you see. I doubt there is any bug.

If that isn't it... I would suspect the firewire drive. A Matrox?
