A few days ago, my computer stopped communicating with my camcorder. After a couple times of uninstalling and reinstalling my firewire cards, I was able to use Vegas Video 3.0 to capture, but began dropping a few frames of video (which had NEVER happened in the past).

Now my camcorder won't communicate with ANY of my firewire ports. I am using a Sony TRV120, with Vegas Video 3.0 to capture, with Windows XP Home edition.

I figured this must be a problem with Windows or the drivers, but am not sure.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated, as my film I am working on is set to premiere in a month and a half!
