Hi There, I just upgraded to Movie Studio 14 Platinum and am using on a Dell PC Windows 7 (64-bit) system. I have used the Vegas Movie Studio program over the past 5+ years and have been very happy with the results. After completing my first project using 14 Platinum I ran into an issue not previously encountered. When I tried to burn a Blu-Ray disc I got the following error messages:
The Blu-Ray settings were as follows:
I set up the Image parameters file path to the folder where my project file was kept. Since the Image parameters line item was asking for a file name, I gave it the same file name as my project file name. But as we know the Image parameter file is an .iso file and not a project .vf file. This failure happened three times.
I then took one of the video clips from my project and made a 'Test' file. This time in the Blu-Ray disc settings I made a sub-folder called 'ISO' within the project folder. This time the authoring and Blu-ray disc burn completed without any errors.
I opened up my project file again and changed the Image parameters file path to the folder sub-folder called 'ISO' and just started the authoring. It will be a while before this either fails again or burns the disc.
In the mean time I was just wondering is there is something new I should be doing with Platinum 14? I used the above method previously with Movie Studio 13 without any issues.
Thanks in advance for any help.
