I downloaded the veg. 5.0 sample and I was wondering how do I attach the frames to the sides of the cube?

Replace the gen media with your video.
Tip: Do not delete the gen media and then add the video! You'll loose the keyframes for the track motion and you'll be scratching your head for hours. Add the video after the gen media, slide it along and then delete the gen media to keep the keyframes. The box in that veg opens it's top but once you fathom out how it works that's easy anough to change.

Aside from that buy AE just for this seems kind of wierd as does dumping it because you could do the same thing in Vegas. AE is a pretty potent program with a HUGE number of 3rd party plugins. Comes at a price though, both cost and time to learn.

If you look up "Add as a Take" in Vegas's help, you'll see it's a snap to replace the cube media with your own
