Hi everybody,
i woukd like to put some subtitles in my video. I am using Sony Vegas Pro 13, and I have seen lots of tutorial on youtube, so I know how to do that: ]

BUT I am looking for something much faster like I have seen in PowerDirector 12, where it was called "Title Room". check it here:

Is there anything like that in Sony Vegas? Or better way how to do that in some other software?

Thank you so much!
Pavel

You want Text Wizard in Vegasaur

for example, it can convert regions to text subtitles, import SRT file, convert regular text file to text events and much more...

The OP may be asking about a tech that IS NOT related to DVD or Blu-ray disc product subtitles...read into his question.

Vegasaur's text wizard will help but even the simple Text&Title plugin is easy to use and not in any way more complicated then what you see in the YT video. Once you have made one text event, you can copy and past it and to maintain all its formats/attributes and just change the text in it. I do this many times and it is very fast. The initial steps seem shorter in the YT video because the text track and event is added by entering the text room but from there on, it is not any faster.

Thank you man,
I will maybe use this good-looking tool. Because that is what I was searching for... I mean type all text with exact timing and upload it at one time on timeline.

@OldSmoke
Thank You for your answer, I worked in PowerDirector, so I have personal experience with tool "Title Room". And i consider it as faster method, because of possibility to type subtitles right into a window with exact time. And then edit all by marking subtitles and add color, size, etd.

But i will try to do it according your advice. But advantage of title room is that i can see all input subtitles on list, and I can edit it without mouse clicking and searching with cursor.

Btw, What do you mean by "text&title plugin" (Do you mean Media Generator>All>Titles & Text?

I hope Sony Vegas will make something like Title Room, to work with subtitles much faster like in Vegasaur's text Wizard or PowerDirector, etc.
