Making Video Preview Window 16:9

Hi

Not sure if I've missed a trick here. If I create a widescreen project (in my case PAL DV Widescreen (720x576, 25.000 fps), the video preview window remains as a 4:3 raster, and consequently 16:9 anamorphic clips look squashed. It's not the end of the world as the projects output correctly but it would be nice if there was an equlivalent of 'simulate device aspect ratio', in Vegas, where this option is selected, the preview window turns into a 16:9 format.

Regards

Graham

The choice "simulate device aspect ratio" is a Vegas thing. In Video Factory under File|Project Properties select the "PAL DV Widescreen (720x576, 25.000 fps)" template. Then right-click the preview window and select "Display Square Pixels".
